Hi Everyone,

The old KDS-19 that we have hopes of restoring is getting to be more difficult than we expected. It runs great and I've been able to make the tub look nice, but the racks,(and other plastic interior parts) are extremely yucky, even with much scrubbing. My upper rack is the worst. It has broken tines and lots of rust.

The broken tines are the adjustable ones, so even if I could find that part it would be a great help. However, my goal is to find a nice rack. I'm at the point I would settle for one without the adjustable tines and then keep my eye out for one that has them. Whatever I can find to make this dishwwasher more appealing to put my dishes into will help.Right now I can't bring myself to use it.

The other parts I need to make this dishwasher feel clean to me are still available, at least right now. I had high hopes to restore this wonderful dishwasher, and truly do not want to turn it into a parts donor.

If anyone has a rack or rack parts in good shape they would be willing to sell me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sandy
