Sorry for the poor pictures. They were taken with my cell phone while it is in the back of my van.
I went to the estate sale yesterday(1st day about an hour after they began). When I found this washer and it had a sold tag on it. (I grumbled to myself). They also had a Kenmore Dryer(I'll post a pic of that too), that someone (I know the person) was purchasing(for her daughter to use). (I grumbled some more to myself about missing out on these two machines). Anyways, I ended up going back there today and the dryer was gone, but the washer was still there and it no longer had the "sold" tag on it, instead it had one that said "As is. $15". So I asked the lady, running the sale, about the washer and she mentioned that someone was going to buy it the day before, until they discovered that it didn't work. She said that if it didn't sell, that she would just junk it. I asked her what the lowest she would take for it and she told me $5.00. Needles to say, I gave her the money and loaded up the machine into the van. I really don't need/want it, but I figured someone on this site would. Is anyone interested in it? Also next week, I'll be driving from Phoenix, Arizona to Rochester, Minnesota, so if someone along the way wants it, let me know and I can bring it along. I'm just going to ask $10. I know I'm doubling my money on it. I can also take more/better pictures later.

The Kenmore dryer. As I said, someone else bought the dryer. Wouldn't mind having it though.

Ben: Since I was planning on stopping in Waterloo Iowa on the way up, I'll be more than happy to bring the Wards Washer with me. Remember, I should be there sometime September 2nd in the evening.

Ben if you could message me your phone number, so I can get your address. I know Waterloo isn't a big town, but would the townsfolk know who I was asking for if I asked for "The Washer Guy"? LOL

That Kenmore dryer is a model not often seen. I am curious of it's vintage, which I would speculate is 1970/71, but maybe a year or so earlier. I believe this was Thelma Harper's dryer in the later years of Mama's Family.
