Spotted this while perusing craigslist this afternoon (sssh! don't tell Hubby...)

They are asking $100, but I'll bet they'd accept a reasonable offer!

Paul,

Should we tell them to turn the rack around? Pity it's a BOL, it's in my neighborhood, sorta.

I have seen models like this and they had little stubby wash arms slightly larger than the bow tie impeller with a hole on the top side at each end, like a cheap lawn sprinkler to sort of throw the water like the bow tie impeller. The detergent "dispenser" was a little wash-out funnel against the front wall of the tub where the dispenser would be so there was no prewash. It looks like this one has a handle on the lid so it might have either a real detergent dispenser or a full-width wash arm, but trying to load the newer bed of nails lower rack through the old-style top rack was not easy. The top rack was probably removed for easier loading. Sad, indeed. Almost any dishwsher is better than no dishwahser, but this would certainly be in the running for the acid test.

Something tells me you've never encountered a BOL D & M-built Kenmore....

Do you mean the ones with the inverted V tines in the lower rack?
Note I said "almost."
