I need to let a few of my playthings go to new homes. I bought this from another member a few years ago. I have never used it. It's in great shape, though dusty from storage now. I am looking for $150.00. The impeller looks good.

Nice!! It looks very much like my '56 Mobile Maid - this was the last year that the GE portables had a bakelite impeller. Definitely worth saving!!

The weather cooled off, so I did some cleaning. Here are some better pictures.

Some crud in the bottom. I didn't have anything other than 409 and Windex though.

I am just letting everyone know that I did a little test without water. The water valve solenoid clicks, the motor runs, the timer advances and the heating element works.

I have now lowered the price to $100. It is missing the back panel.

back panel

Would anyone at this site happen to know where to get a back panel? Curious. Les

It would be easy enough to make one out of sheet metal panning, used in HVAC. You could find that at Home Depot, most likely.

While you're at it, replace that cord.

I looks more wrinkled and frayed than a Romney supporter.
