Water softener module.  IIRC from previous discussions, it was a concept, never marketed.  Or maybe it was produced but in very limited quantities.

Did that come with that particular model?

According to the POD it's listed as a special feature on that machine. Or did you have to pay extra for that module since it was something that wasn't inside the machine.
