The RR-8 was my first microwave. I liked the way the Cookmatic gauge lighted up RED as did the thermometer when the temp probe was plugged in. |

I'm pretty sure that is identical to the dryer we had for many years. It was basic but solid like all the Whirlpool top filter models.
In 1974 when we moved from Maryland to Ohio we had that dryer as an electric model in our all electric home there. In '77 we moved it here to MN. A year or so later John came out and did the swap and made it into a gas model. It was the only dryer we had up to a few years ago when a new Cabrio replaced it. The Kenmore still runs as a daily driver at my buddies son-in-laws house! Amazing longevity... |
