That dryer panel to me is reminiscent of 1956 Frigidaire Unimatic and Filtrator lol.

I recall seeing this dryer in catalogs - a "Match-All" dryer but I don't know what year for sure.  Gordon will :-)

I have never seen this RR-8 model though, what a sweet little gem that is.  All you really need for microwaving happiness in three simple controls.

The RR-8 was my first microwave. I liked the way the Cookmatic gauge lighted up RED as did the thermometer when the temp probe was plugged in.

I'm pretty sure that is identical to the dryer we had for many years. It was basic but solid like all the Whirlpool top filter models.

In 1974 when we moved from Maryland to Ohio we had that dryer as an electric model in our all electric home there. In '77 we moved it here to MN. A year or so later John came out and did the swap and made it into a gas model. It was the only dryer we had up to a few years ago when a new Cabrio replaced it.

The Kenmore still runs as a daily driver at my buddies son-in-laws house! Amazing longevity...
