Nope, these machines don't stop with unbalanced loads, in your case with the bypassed switch, simply push in the timer knob to stop it and redistribute what you have to. | ||

awww ...miss the old Kenmore buzzer's going off...use to scare the crap out of you if you weren't on your guard and you were near the machine when it sounded off!. Some of them were pretty loud. One of the old "bell and whistles" of days gone by before the DD machines showed up. | ||
