A little overpriced, but if that's what you're into-

Nice.  Maybe from one of the last years this was offered (1969, 1970-ish?).  Steep price, but at least he says "OBO"...

Given what that last GE 1958 Filter-Flo on eBay went for, there is nothing unrealistic about his asking price.

Those control dials have 1967 graphics but that means nothing on the Combos because GE used old parts on them all the time.
If I were into Combo's I'd be sorely tempted.

At least it is old enough to still have the square clear window. I can see it being rarely used if it was in a vacation condo down there. As warm as the cold water can get in parts of Florida during the summer, this would have been an awful machine to use in the summer. This would have been among the first after the change in the control panel. I opened one of these on the sales floor at Rich's and there was a card in it stating that the use & care manual was being rewritten. It asked that the card be mailed in to receive the new booklet when it was ready. The new booklet had a light purple cover.

For someone who is not a skilled technician but loves combos and has a few bucks, certainly this is a dream come true. We don't see gems this rare every day.

GE Combo

It is a 1966 model, GE was the last US company to stop making combos, they made them through 1972 into early 1973.

machine, belts look in fine shape too.

A simple restore if it truly is working.

Les, I just want to thank you for posting this. I searched for a Combo all last winter, and gave up. There are two good stories about this machine, and I'll gear up for a nice Winter Tale in next few weeks; it's a doozie--I promise.

I didn't pay anywhere near 1750, which would have been in the end, impossible.

So thanks again for making a dream come true, and my best wishes of good fortune for YOU.

am glad;

that someone at this site got them. I figured that very few locals would want them and they would realize that and drop the price to something reasonable. If you need any help with temp storage, I live 2 hours away from that location and can assist you. Good luck. Les.

Thanks, Les, it's actually one big machine, a washer and a dryer all in one unit, not stacked, just one machine housing one big tub that both washes and dries in the same tub, and I already have it here at home. What a kind offer you've given for pick-up and storage. So generous. Amazing! Thank You again, Les.

Jon, U crate takes 3-5 business days. You get it in a blink. The day Adam of Oscela agreed, I called U crate, and they'll schedule delivery right away if you have your addresses and zips in order and ready to roll.
