I finally went to the Speed Queen showroom today.I was mainly interested in seeing the new front loaders,....pretty impressed with the quality of the product.

It must be a relatively new place as they were still under some renovations.I was dissapointed in that there were only two topload models there. They also had Sub-Zero fridges and Wolf ranges with some eurotech washers and dishwashers.

The front load washers have a tub capacity similar to that of the frigemore washers,or so it looked.Mostly basic machines.

The toploaders do not have the porcelain tops that the commercial machines do.I don't like that too much.It has a good warranty though.Yes,they do still look like Amana washers with the surgilator type agitators.Obviously, time will be the factor in seeing how these machines will hold up.Hope they do.
