Hello,

Whilst researching 1960's white goods I've come across this website and I'm hoping someone might be able to help us!

I'm working in the ITV drama "Endeavour II" and we have an upcoming scene in a department store in 1966 in a kitchen section. Therefore we need a few new-looking white goods which would be on display. Specifically we need a "Colston Turbo Dishwasher" (mentioned in the script).

Just wondering if anyone has any suitable 1966 appliances that they might be able to hire out to us for a week in November?

If you think you can help please email me at lucycarabest@gmail.com

Many thanks!

is this the show about Morse in the 60s?! Loved the first season...
so miss John Thaw (RIP). We used to have a '62 Mk II Jag just like his in dark blue.

Can't help with the appliances, but good luck with the filming - can't wait to see it on PBS!

Help......

Come on, folks..... Surely someone can help these people???

I have an English Electric tumble dryer, which I 'think' is '60s vintage. It's not in 'as new' condition, but could probably be 'spruced up' for the role. Unfortunately, it's a big job to get at it, which is why I've not found out the model number yet.

All best

Dave T
