Hello all,

We have a Whirlpool Ultracare II that's about ten years old. I can't seem to find any information regarding compatible parts.

It needs a new timer because sometimes you manually have to advance to the next cycle or will just keep going tick tick tick.

Second we would really like to get a used agitator that is shorter and good for small loads and most importantly does not take serviceable agitator dogs.

The one I'd like to use linked on the shopping part of this website.

Would the above agitator work with a Whirlpool Ultracare II?

Cheers

No, different and incompatible drive shafts.

You could perhaps swap-in these agitators or whatever other designs may be relevant to Whirlpool-family direct-drive machines.

Hey DADoES,

Thank you very much. I used Google Images and those look like what we're looking for.

Actually...take the spiral part off your current agitator, and you pretty much have a Maytag powerfin, at least for your machine....but you can only wash up to medium size loads at a time...

even something like this would work....

Any chance those agitators have a little less height than the original corkscrew with the caps off? Some height is nice, but just maybe 2 to 3cm less would be awesome.

reply number 5 is about as short as your gonna get......otherwise, just take your spiral off, you can't go much lower for the agitation post height of the tranny!

you can purchase one like this, but you already have it when your is taken apart....not sure why you would want to go lower.....

you can try one from a D2000 24inch model, with smaller vanes on the base, but thats about it....
