how do i find out how old my whilpool is its a dd ,will the model number tell me?

The serial number will tell.

 

Not the best but its the best so far I could find.

Model numbers are coded for the year of market release.

Serial numbers are coded for the year and week of that year when the machine was manufactured.

Provide the model number, the serial number, or both ... to get your answers.
