Today I ordered my new dishwasher for a new home. There was an old very worn Kenmore tall-tub that I got rid off. I was going back and forth between a Bosh Ascenta or the GE. I know the Bosch gets great reviews, but I found a few YouTubes from people who had good things to say, but who were also a little frustrated with loading. If I could have gotten another Whirlpool electronic short-tub, I would have....but the GE was on sale for $398 and free delivery. If I counted correctly, 34 jets....12 on the bottom wash arm, 12 on the upper directed to the top rack, (perhaps there are some jets on the bottom, and 10 on top wash arm. A filter and a disposer.

Looks like the GE is getting some good reviews, but I'm eager to try it out myself. I probably won't be moving in for several weeks, but the dishwasher will be installed on Friday....I can't wait!

Great looking dishwasher! Nice design!

Loading issues seem a more occuring problem with European dishwashers in the USA. I guess Americans have different crockery than Europeans. I noticed some American friends have earthenware crockery, you don't see that a lot here. And perhaps Americans use more or bigger bowls?

- and I can't see the inside.........

LOL.

It says it has a hard food disposer with removable filter? ........I thought dishwashers with hard food disposers didn't have removable filters.

My whirlpool tall tub is 9 years old now so I haven't really been looking at many dishwashers lately, so a lot has changed apparently.

Well, it's installed, but the water and drain isn't hooked up yet because my sink and disposal is still being installed...

Height adjustment...

Nice looking dishwasher. But you need to tell your installers to come back and raise it up. The gap between the top of that dishwasher and the counter top is way to large. There shouldn't be more than about 1/2" gap between the two. I don't even see how they could anchor that to the underside of the counter correctly as large as that gap is. Maybe they will adjust it after the final plumbing installation. If not, I'd speak up about that.

I'm not yet living in the house and I took those pics yesterday and there's some wood trim between the top of the DW and counter that was apparently removed when the old DW was removed, and our handyman said he had not put the trim back. I'll check it out today....
