Gosh, it looks ghastly! Even worse than the usual B/S/H styling! And all that plastic and oversized chrome door... give me anything else anyday! |

I also was looking at the Siemens version in John Lewis yesterday with the same dispenser. To be honest am not overly keen on the dosing system, much prefer the idea of an ordinary dispenser. Super looking machines though as seem to be the quietest on sale in JL according to the db's on the energy labels.

I like how you can actually select the kind of stain you have in the menu: coffee, chocolate, sweat, etc.
3 questions: How does the "Leise Waschen" option work? Does the machine rotate more slowly in order to not make as much noise? What is the color gel compartment? Is that for dyeing fabrics or is it some kind of color fade prevention? Very impressive machine though, looks and performance wise. Is the Bosch emblem on the outside lens of the door or is it cast into the glass? |

Silent Wash options usually lower the spin speed throughout the cycle, may add more water to the rinse cycle, a rinse hold, and deactivate the buzzer.
Gel detergents don't really work for white clothes because the don't have oxy bleach in them, thus BSH suggests to use a Color Gel in this compartment. The emblem in on the outer plastic door. The stain settings are nice. Miele even allows three stain settings to be added to a cycle, while Panasonic's Stain Master covers 23 stains. |
