Nothing wrong with the dryer, the sensor on the dryer is very sensitive to the current load making it shut off prematurely!
At that price, it is more than a bargain but a steal!

Dryer shutting after a few loads

And then takes a while to restart is a main motor overheating, this is usually caused by a combination of lint built up around the motor and a clogged or badly restricted airflow through the dryer and vent system, in any case it is easy to fix, great machines.

Agreed with John

This superior dryer should not overheat and shut down unless the vent is plugged up with lint or the motor is wrapped in it.  Otherwise this is one of the best TL sets EVER MADE!

It seems they made this 27" wide electronic dryer from about 1993 to 2000? with mine cosmetic changes.
