Can anyone tell me possibly the last annoying remaining feature on today's Hoover/Candy machines that started when Candy bought out Hoover back in the day. Lets see how quick you can get this correct.

Sealed cabinet

The fact that the front looks removable until you look harder and discover its welded? The fact the lid on the machine is so awkward to put on?
Cottons nowadays, the prewash cannot be canceled unless you chose the colours programme?
The door being difficult to shut on models with button release?
Phil

The Tumble Dryers NEVER match the washers.

The odd one where the fascia/name/range (Nextra/Six/Quattro) has matched its been a solid door so not a true match.

Visions - dryer door is not the same height as the washer even though the facias can match.

Is it that?????

The welded front cabinet really puts me off...

I should know about all these little things you guys mentioned... having two Hoovers at home, but the most irritating one of all is that sealed cabinet!

I often thought about venturing into changing the bearings in the Hoover Nextra one of these days... as they've been rumbling slightly for a while, although, as strange as it might seem, they haven't got any worse as yet! I've seen videos on YT on bearings change in a Bosch and a Hotpoint and they make it seem easy as a piece of cake... I wish they did it with a Hoover/Candy.

Has any of you replaced them on one of these a sealed cabinet machines? Can I turn to you for advice should I ever consider such possibility? I don't think I'll ever have the patience though :-P

I'm sure my grans Hoover had numerous bearing replacements in its life before her Whirlpool. A Hoover Performer AB130.
It didn't take them too long, though never payed attention as to how they initially got the drum/tub out. Its probably like the round door Hotpoint's you have to unclip the bottom and lift it out?

Out of all the Washers that i own i have to say that this Hoover Quattro is by far one of the greatest machines to watch in action.
