A rather nifty idea for the partially sited, although I can't side I'd want dog salavia and dirty paws all over my clean laundry.

Another article on the subject, courtesy of the Daily Fail.
Got to say, I am like the dark coloured door on this machine - looks very retro! CLICK HERE TO GO TO AquaCycle's LINK |

If someone is unable to turn on a washing machine, that person would hardly be able to load it, put the detergent, unload... Seems to me a very useless "invention" |

"Inventor John Middleton said: 'People who are visually impaired, have manual dexterity problems, autism or learning difficulties can find the complexity of modern day washing machines too much. 'I had been working on a single programme washing machine to make things easier, and there was a lot of demand for it.
'But then I saw a video from the charity Support Dogs, where a dog strips a bed and loads the washing machine. 'I was completely blown away by the footage and instantly thought I could invent a machine where the dog does everything. After an initial meeting with Support Dogs, Mr Middleton, who is the Managing Director of UK laundry specialist JTM, set to work with a team of engineers and finished the project (with the help of manufacturer Miele Professional) in a fortnight. I think its a great project, a Miele with idos, smart trained support dogs and happy owners.... |

Are they going to train Duffy the dog to load and unload the dishwasher-and bark to start it?Joking aside its and interesting and novel-perhaps useful idea. And are they going to make a vacuum cleaner Duffy can use?Duffy is a cute dog!! |
