I have a front load, WCI built Frigidaire washing machine that is about 15-20 years old. I have taken the top off and located the pressure switch for the fill. There are two plastic screws in it. One is in the dead center, the other is over towards the edge. Which one controls the water level, and which way do I turn it?

I have turned the center one in 1/4 turn increments both ways and water level has not changed. I take this to mean it is the other one, but I wanted to check before I went further. The way the switch is mounted I will have to take it off the frame to get to that other screw.

Thanks guys!

should only be the middle one.....and turn clockwise......some turn both equally, you may have to do both.....you may also have to do a whole revolution to see a change

are you putting it into spin after every turn to reset?.....and then let it refill empty of clothes...and use a ruler to measure if you have to.....

remember too, as you add water, your adding weight, and the chassis is lowering because of it!.....

are you sure we can't talk you into a Neptune?

Yeah - I drained the water. I will go back downstairs and do a full turn and see what happens.
