It is leaking from the front right post. And it appears to be a new leak. No trails etc.

What year?

were you able to determine? I wonder if it has the world famous Arc-Q-Cuate 210 transmission?

Matt - bummer to hear about the leak. Hopefully it won't take much to patch it up.

Washman - it has the same transmission as all other 70's SQ's. I believe Mark, Akronman, recently just picked up an earlier SQ, with additional photos and a video even. Same stuff.

Ben

210 or not.......what these solidtub versions offered was a powerforced stroke mated to the whale tale paddles of the agitator......something that the Raytheon and Alliance machines sort of lacked in their designs.......

I would like to try and switch out a few agitators in both machines....just to see the variations of wash action......

thanks to Mark for this video of a ramped version in a solid tub...

From what I gather here

the "Raytheon" era of SQ was less than stellar, is that correct?

It is leaking around the bolt

everythingold's profile picture
This is the front right bolt for the outer tub. I hope epoxy works, any other ideas?

And this is a 77, I have not worked on a SQ this old before. I just don't see many. I have a thing for SQ though, you guys know how it is.
