Notice anything unusual on the right side of this ordinary KM dryer?

....Sorry, all I see is a coin-op box, which doesn't seem all that unusual to me.

Can you explain? Or am I being dense?

What I found funny

Is that this is a household dryer rigged up with a coin box.  Were it an actual KM commercial dryer the meter box and vault would be part of the top and the control panel would look much different.   I just thought that is was crazy that someone would do this.

Agreed. Have never seen this version of retro-rigging before. Good Luck fitting it flush into a laundry room. Nice way to save quarters, though ;'D

Probably rigged up and used in some type of apt. building that the tenants were allowed to use but had to pay for. Landlord was too cheap to go for an actual commercial machine.
The crazy screwed up things that people will do to save the almighty dollar.

That alteration will void the warranty :-)
