Preparing for a major laundry room overhaul/upgrade. As much as I really want a front loader, I don't trust them enough just yet and I have NO patience for failure in something that, to me, costs a small fortune. I have narrowed my choices down to two TOL top-load brands and am soliciting your opinions to influence my final decision.

Fisher & Paykel (with the top load dryer)
Speed Queen

Thanks!

I think I would vote Speed Queen.

Fisher & Paykel...I worked for a showroom that sold them and can't remember hearing negative feedback from clients or our service techs.

SQ for its robustness with simple timer.

F&P. After getting to play with DADoES' at the Texas wash-in, I see it as the only top load alternative (The IWL12). The dryer is totally awesome and kicks butt. Couldn't believe how everything came out totally untangled and its capacity is very deceiving.
