"This is a lovely 3-Piece media console with a hideaway lift for a flat screen TV made of warm walnut with brushed nickel hardware. The pieces can be styled 2 ways. When all 3 are flush on the back, the front makes a continuous curved bow shape. If the center piece is pulled away from the wall with the 2 sides all the way back, it appears more like a traditional 3 peice unit. It's very pretty both ways, and it's nice to be able to change it up. I tried to get a photo to show the bow shape, but a two dimensional picture doesn't do it justice.

The center console houses the lift mechanism in the back, with shelves for AV components, pull-out trays for media storage and drawers in front. It will accomodate a TV up to 50 inches in width. The television hangs on a rack like it would be if it were mounted on the wall. All instructions are included. The lift can be raised and lowered by a remote control, or a button on the top.

The center door comes with interchangeable backings of glass and wood that fit behind the "X" detail. The photos show an example of each. We use the glass so that the cable box and stereo remotes will work with the door closed. The smaller doors on each side have pull-outs to hold CDs and DVDs.

The side piers have adjustable shelves and drawers. The doors for the side pieces also have interchangeable backs of wood or black stereo speaker cloth. Both are shown in the photos. All 4 drawers are very smooth and lined with felt.

Dimensions:

Center Console:
56"Wx29D"x45H"

Sides:
23"Wx31D"x43H"

Max TV Dimensions:
50"W x30"H x 4.75"D

This item was purchased new at a local interior design store in December 2008 for $2954. All instructions, extra parts and receipt are available. All pieces are in very good condition. It has a few minor areas of wear, but only what you would expect from 5 years of use. No major flaws."
