1960? Last year for the "floating backsplasher"? Had the staggered "piano key" buttons and don't think they back-lit up in colors this year, had the full glass panel which is nice. Anyone know the year for sure? I like this one, wish it was closer.

Probably 1962; GE colors shifted from blue/white to black in '62. Beautiful stove.

That's very nice, and in Canary Yellow at that.

Was '62 the last year for that style backsplash? Know they were gone by '65.

1961 was the last year for the elevated/floating backsplash. The 1957, 1958 and 1959 models shared a common housing that was lower than this one (and nicer looking IMHO), 1960 and 1961 used this housing. By 1962 GE went to a solid backsplash, no pedestals, no glass panel.
