Haven't tore into it yet. My friend had me over but it was running fine with no noise when I was there. Thinking maybe the idler roller or one of the other support rollers. What do you think? Anybody with the same problem?

It was the idler. Thought I was getting the whole assembly when I went to sears but they just gave me the pulley, didn't have any grease or oil so hope it doesn't start acting up soon. Cleaned off the shaft as it was gummed up.
My two dryers at home are the same style- was going to remove the blower wheel and housing to make access easier but could tell the plastic was going to break before it loosened any. The previous style with the top lint trap seems so much easier to work on!!! |
