The best bet in an old, vintage daily driver, for the ten-thumbed, non-mechanically-inclined guy like me (who would rather be working a tonearm over his old Pat Boone records, WITHOUT grease under his finger nails & a horrific odor on his hands he can't get off!)...
At least if there are plenty of parts out there, and a repair person who fixes stuff like that on a daily basis, as often as the 1990's Kenmore D-D that I employ & regularly use... Only short-coming? No Warm Wash/Warm Rinse combination, and probably lacking a Fabric Softener & Extra Rinse...! But it surely might have a Bleach Dispenser (which I use far more than Downey) and at least it has a Magic Clean lint filter... -- Dave |

I have two of these....Supreme models....roughly 1983/4.......Warm rinse can be had once the machine has filled, and by pressing the Hot/Warm button.....no extra rinse, but the Automatic Soak is a nice option.....
the self clean filter is just a circular comb under the inner basket...I added a manual filter to mine as well....just for the drama... DoubleDuty Super Surgilator......and yeah, you can add a agitator mounted dispenser.....theres a Bleach port, not really a timed dispenser... |
