This is a BD, not a DD. The size of the lid compared to the surface gives it away. |

This is definitely a belt-drive washer. Same model that I bought when in college in 8/86. It is the entry level 70-series, 1983 model, and the first of four 70 series models. It was in production from spring 1983 to fall 1986.
The full size / 27" models did not debut until fall 1986 using the revised console with the timer on the far right and the rubberized knobs. |
