They have kinda stumpy short consoles for Whirlpool...I would venture to guess 1971 to 1973 models?

Newer than 1971-1973.  Washer has the Knit cycle.  The buttons are also a newer design, and the console header is more like the 1978 LFA series ... but not like the 1976-77 LDA series.

Reminds me of a Whirlpool set that I saw at the Maytag store where I my mom got her M-T washer& dryer from...

There were a lot of older, used appliances and of course, something unique like this set, that I saw when I had to go back to the store to pick up the drying rack for the dryer, as well as a metal wire that would prevent the draining hose on the washer from spraying all over the laundry room & directing its water in the sink...

Beautiful set. I agree with DADoES that these are perhaps 1978 models. Note that the washer has the chrome lid handle and the dryer has the plastic one that was on all models into the 80s and beyond. This was when the Whirlpool branded washers were making that switch. I hope they find a good home.

Well I didn't know there would be so much interest. These machines are in Grand Rapids. A dealer named Lee has them. I'm sure you could get a good price. His number is 616-243-4241.
