Steve i use WD-40 on all my timers even before i put a machine in service i take off the back panel and spray it on the mech., it not only lubes but it cleans the contact points it works great and seems to last years hope that helps you out john |

I agree with Ben, Contact cleaner is definately the way to go if you are spraying inside a timer. You can buys it at radio shack or Antique Electronic Supply. (www.tubesandmore.com...)
