Way too cozy, but I suppose it would be a boon to anyone who regularly cooked things in giant vessels.

 

No wonder it looks so lightly used.

 

@ Tucson:  I would call that a stupid arrangement.

I remember those very well. My dad sold a lot of them that came in as trade-in's. They also came in 20" with the same burner layout. I suppose as a cost cutting measure. They were built like tanks.

Parents of a friend of mine lived in an apartment in NYC just below Macy's 34th St store and they had a stove just like this in the kitchen. They used a Fleck Broiler for broiling.
