I am trying to figure out what is the best way to open the little door on my Maytag gas dryer shown in the picture located on the lower front of the machine. No little knob to pull and I was pushing on it with no results. Do I have to open it from the inside some how? Thanks.

You just pry outward at the center of the bottom, then when it is partly open you pull it completely off the top tabs, you reinstall it in reverse order.

I think if you use something to raise it up just a bit it will open easier.
