I second that! What brand is it?

Thanks guys!

It's an "L'Equip". It's called the "RPM" blender.

At the time, it had the most powerful blender motor on the market (1/2 horsepower or something like that).

I Googled it for you ... looks like they started making it in black (which is kind of sexy -- I admit I've have had trouble picking between that or the "raw aluminum" which was the only option when I bought mine).

Unfortunately, it also looks like it's been discontinued. :(

It's amazingly simple. Heavy-duty toggle on/off switch, and an infinitely-variable speed knob. The tachometer guages the RMPs. It's totally a GUY'S blender! :)

Love that. Just love it.

Well, if you guys simply MUST see that manual shown (teasingly) in post#2 above, I have that manual and scanned it in here. It's a cool read. Enjoy!

There's nothing difficult for the seller to offer a copy (scanned). Thanks for the link back to your 2009 posting.
I assumed it was a smaller manual, but there's much good and fun information there. Thanks again!

It's really cool. Maintenance tips, recipes and... Those attachments! How many of those would give the U.L. nightmares today?
