Thanks for the CL scouring!

I sent an email on the SQ twinnie, it's in Columbus , NE but that's not too far. It was in Columbus that I found my first (partial) set of GM Frigidaire Tech-Talk books back in 2000.

Greg - I never got a chance to play with Don's SQ when he had one and I wish I had.  Hopefully you'll be able to snag it up!

They made a 2 speed? That would be cool.

Planning on going out Saturday.

2-speed....

yeah, i think speed queen made a 2-speed twin tub. i think i remember reading that on here. i know that the simplicity twin tub came in a 1-speed & a 2-speed too. bradross has both a 1-speed & a 2-speed. but i'm not sure if his are speed queen twin tubs or if they are simplicity twin tubs, i can't remember. and i think macboy91 has a speed queen as well. but i don't remember reading much about it or if he got it up & running??

and with this speed queen, it's hard to read the control knob to know if it's a 1-speed or 2-speed. so, you'll have to let us know when you get it and take some clearer & closer pictures of the control knobs so that we can read what it says on that center knob. or on all the knobs really.

i was looking at a speed queen twin tub but if i remember correctly, i think it only had 2 knobs. and i'm not really pushing for it cuz i'm kinda over the whole "twin tubbing" scene. it was too much work for me!! LOL...
i'd much rather let my automatic maytag do all the washing & spinning. that way i have more time to be on the computer!!!
hm hm hm.....
;o)
