I discovered tonight that the pump seal on my KDS18 is leaking, and before it gets worse would like to replace it. I recall from other posts that it is available as a Hobart part, as the pump is used on Hobart commercial dishwashers. Using the searchalator did not find the seal part number, so may I could ask one of the resident KA/Hobart experts to reply back with the pump seal part number. Also, since the pump will be apart, I'd like to do a rebuild, and accordingly, if the wash/drain impellers are also available, could those part numbers be posted here as well.

Thank You

Part numbers:

241053 wash impeller 14.02
435102 Shaft seal and drain impeller kit 63.74

These can be purchased at any Hobart office.
The shaft seal kit includes a higher volume drain impeller which will pump the machine out better than your original one if it has never been changed before.

These can be changed from inside the tank. Just put everything back in the reverse order and location as when you took it apart. There should also be instructions in the shaft seal kit as well.

Hope this helps
Steve

Like A Charm

Much appreciation and thanks for the expert advice and resources here.
Ordered the drain impellar/seal kit, and installed it. All is again dry, and the improved impeller does drain much faster.
