These are no ladies!

The washer is a belt drive near TOL, but not a Lady, and the dryer is newer tha n the washer. The washer looks to be the last of the Kenmore belt drives before the switch to DD washers and the newer consoles like that of the dryer.

Mike - thanks for chiming in, I looked at that dryer and thought, "hmm, doesn't quite look like a match"....but I wasn't sure. How you can identify a belt vs. DD is amazing...radar vision. :-)

From the above picture I almost thought they were toast color. When you look at the listing they look more almondy.

Super32 - Sometimes, I intentionally change the photos from their known whites to make them appear white, versus how some of the photos are yellow when posted by sellers(lighting conditions, camera, etc).

But I didn't touch this photo, so why it appears different - (shoulder shrug) not sure.

The only machines that had the center dial that were DD machines were a couple of the 24" machines. When the full size DD Kenmore's came out the consoles were the match to the dryer in this post.

I have seen machines on CL that looked Green, I went and bought and they were yellow/gold. I have seen "Almond" pics that end up being white. I think between various computer screens and inexpensive cameras and phone cameras and Craigslist, it's easy to get some confusion. That's been my experience so far.
