Hi -

I have a Craigslist estate sale around the corner from me coming up tomorrow after noon and one of the items for sale is a Maytag washer. I think it's an A206.
Is that correct? What would be a fair price for decent condition, non-dripper? Small or large capacity tub? Any chance for Suds Saver?

Any help appreciated.

A206

We had that same model in harvest gold.  Standard capacity tub.  That one is older since it has the pilot light above the dial.

i'm not an expert, but to me, it doesn't look like it has a "suds-saver" option.

buttons look like;
water tempteratures - "HOT" "WARM" "COLD"
agitation speed - "GENTLE" "REGULAR"
load size - "SMALL" "MEDIUM" "LARGE"

but than again, i could be wrong?
i'm just barely learning.....

pretty avocado though ;o)

Hippiedoll:

You are correct. This is not a suds saver model. If it were there would be two additional buttons that say "Save Suds", or "Drain Suds".

As for the way the buttons read, you are correct with one minor exception. The water level button for a full load says "Normal", not Large.

I had this model growing up; we got it in 1972 so it did not have the pilot light. The pilot light on the older models was fake if I recall.
