I finally have cleaned up the work room and am getting started on my 1952 Bendix, Its the 2,000,0000 Bendix to roll off assembly line, it seems to operate OK but I need an new door boot (gasket), someone on this link mentioned that a newer style F/L washer boot would work, May I ask which brand name that machine might be and where can I locate the part? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Kim

A new speed queen boot can be fit to that machine but I am in the process of getting a supply Bendix boots for various people from CHESTERMIKE------------- ohh MIKE ARE YOU READING THIS???

As soon as I get word from Mike on our progress I can arrange a boot for you. But you may not want to wait so a new speed queen boot will fit you just need to trim off some extra rubber lip.

Ten on the way to you , should be with you by the 7th...

Can you send me a pic of the drum lip on the Westinghouse, We think we may have a final solution on the door boot, its an old Zerowat model...fingures crossed!!

Cheers, Mike
