The material written for these two machines reminds me of book reports written by people who have read the cover of a book: little was said in as many words as possible because there is little to be said. Nothing was said about the capacity because it was the small tub when most lines were offering larger capacity machines. Nothing is said about the agitator because it is still the same old style, not the new PowerFin in the larger capacity machines. Nothing is said of the one speed agitation and spin when Sears was offering two speed machines for about the same money. A mention of the metered fill is made because Maytag's cheapest machine no longer has a timed fill, a money saving change that meant they could make one less timer style. This brochure was the motorcycle escort for a one car funeral.
What my mom had later, after the pilot light left the control panel; no surprise you could only get it in White... (Though why was the just as basic dryer offered in Colors?)
