i would not consider those to be "older". they should of put "used" in the title and not "older". just my $.02....

and i don't know if that is whirlpool or not?? those are machines that i would never look at, personally. just nothing there of interest to me....

:o/

aren't those from the late 80's or early 90's? Many people say "Older" in the ads, and it applies, to people in general who sell, for appliances that are 10, 15 on up years old. When they get old, they say antique for the old wood and gas stoves and vintage for the 50's, 60's, and sometimes, the 70's.

These look like earlier examples of the digital control panel units of Kitchenaid Limited Edition washer and dryer?

Those machines are TOL DD Kenmore's. I use to own that model washer and do I ever miss it. Fully loaded six different cycles, 3 speeds, 5 water levels plus multiple options (pre-wash, pre-soak, extra rinse for any cycle), ATC, wrinkle guard, delay options (1-9 hrs.)and triple dispenser, lit console- what more could you ask for.

The only feature the washer didn't have was a suds option which I don't think was available with that model.

Didn't have the electronic dryer though unfortunately but had the model right below it which was also a great dryer.

That set is from the late 80's. My washer was from 89. Machine went for almost 20yrs within my family before it was traded out for a FL.

They are in fact Whirlpool machines.

Kenmore branded of course. These are some of the best machines WP EVER made. These were only sold under the KM name. Combining a solid state PCB/microprocessor controller with the WP DD mechanism is an unbeatable combination.
To be sure there were PCB/MP machines branded WP/KA but did not have all the niceties of the KM LTD. Nor did they sell in the numbers the KM badged units did.
