Spent a very nice afternoon and evening with three of the Ohio washer/appliance members. Jeff M from Mansfield drove up along with Bill R from Canton and Tim S from Elyria. Tim has been here before but had not seen the Philco set in action, nor had Jeff and Bill ever seen a Philco work. Did a couple of loads in the Philco set and then several in the 1967 GE. Nice to meet with new members. Its was great having you here guys!

Looks like fun

Hi Jimmy,

Looks like everyone had a great time. The philco looks great all lit up. You know what they say, "Clothes come out cleaner in a machine that lights up," or is that what I say.

Wash-ins are a great way to build camraderie with club members.

Tim, did ya drive up in the Pinto?

Pinto is in hibernation

The Pinto didnt make the trip this time. Here in Northern Ohio they use ALOT of salt on the roads to melt the ice...Salt is like kryptonite to superman to a Pinto....Sure and certain death would occur

Ohio Mini Wash In

I had a great time Sunday. This was my first wash in and hopfully not my last. Jimmy could list his place as a museum!
The philco has a truly unique wash action, and it was nice to meet club members. Dinner was an unexpected treat. Thanks Jimmy. Jeff

Jimmy, it's taken me quite a long time to get caught up on all the posts here. So glad to see that you got your prized Philco restored. Also wanted to let you know that in addition to the GE dryer, I got a call for a 1964 Whirlpool set that is still in use. AND our favorite appliance recycler whom I haven't called in well over a year called me today. He asked if you and I would go to his place soon and to bring 4 trucks since I can only haul 3 washers in mine. Are you ready for a road trip? Rich
