Could this be the dreaded A106 - a recent POD and the subject of discussion in another forum?

it's kinda hard to tell how many water temp buttons there are???

it looks like 3 buttons. but than again, it looks like it could be 4 smaller water temp buttons.

it has to be an A106 or A108.
(and this is just from what i have been learning). i'm sure someone else can look at that picture & tell us exactly which model it is.

:o)

I'm not up on all the model differences but I'm seeing 3 temp and 3 levels- whatever that happens to make it.

i think that would make it an A106. which i think is the very basic washer that maytag made??
(but i could be wrong???)

That's what I thought I was seeing - 3 and 3, no "chrome" on the bezel either. Entry level Maytag just like in the POD earlier.

Pulltostart,  I believe you are correct.  It is a few years newer than the one my family owned.  Ours had the "pilot light" over the timer.  But there was no light bulb behind the lens.  I think this happened for a few years with the "BOL" models.  alr
