"S.STEEL GAS STOVE Robert Shaw 5'W 30"Deep. Has 2 ovens,6 burners, grill & griddle, Model GR120-23. Comes with 5' x36" S/steel hood & pwr vent."
This must be a 1940-1950 stove, does anybody know? I don't know when RS made stoves, I know they made parts for years and years for other manufacturers.
These pop up every so often around Boston and this one is in one of the Deluxnard Suburbs which were real Deluxnard in the 1950's!!
Drooooool
Does anybody have info on RS stoves??

Jon, just get it and do a little remodeling.

Six burners, two ovens and a griddle. Isn't there a country-western song in there somewhere?

Robert Shaw Stoves

Sounds like the one my grandmother (partenal) had in Oklahoma City. They built a new home in 1949 and bouht a Robert Shaw stove. It looked like you described. Had lighted burner controls on the front and 1 huge oven and another smaller. She is the one who had the economat Bendix with the rubber tub.

Missy you have some 'splaining to do.

And just why is the post in the Imperial Forum! I really like to see what happens when you put a load of whites into that oven. I think as a penalty we will have to take your square Osters away!

I believe when you put a load of whites into the oven, it turns into a load of browns.

No email, but I guess my reputation precedes me. But look at the glee in their posts when they thought I would get right after you! They wish it was them who posted in the wrong forum! They are envious of you, Jon! Vicarious masochists, they are!

Now let's see the Webmaster use his magic powers to correctly arrange the time-space continuum...

Cheers, Mike

p.s. Interesting debate about the forums, See Threads 5138 & 5183!!! , I`m guilty as charged, its so easy to get into a habit of just posting or following existing posts...

So... I take it Wringers & Twinnies a movin to the Super Duper Forum and givin toggle a run for his money...LOL

The issue is for me is no-one ever checked me over it, it is easy to laugh at the above...BUT...its the new people who dont realise, post in the "Wrong" forum and get a response that see`s them running for the hills and not coming back.

Cheers, Mike

Nope, I've decided to rename the web site, "automaticstoves.com".
