Hey Guys
Matt and I were doing the rounds yesterday and stumbled on this in one of our regular stops. These were VERY expensive when new- more than the full size version and so for £30 it had to be brought. It came with the manual as well :)

That is very cool Seamus, CONGRATS!   Or I assume congrats are in order, did you buy it?

I don't have the extra counter space to spare to have one of these just sitting there, but it would be fun to have, especially if it had a window!   Very cool.

If you did buy it, let us know how it works!

Best,

Kevin

Congratulations! What a Treasure.

How old is she? Is the plastic funnel for salt for the water softener? Will you explain the buttons and the symbols on the timer?

That dishwasher I would say is about 11 years old. I had the exact same one when we moved into temporary house and I've got to say for such a small machine it's quick and works excellent. My friend has it now and the only thing wrong with it is the plastic wheels on the basket have broken and they are £10 each to replace and it needs four.
Brilliant machine very little goes wrong with it

Zanussi tiny dishwashers,,,,,
Weirdly enough I have never seen one of these models here in Italy, very rare indeed, where is this made?
I could though see more recent Rex...
Controls are really more like a Zoppas than a typical Zanussi/rex badged, even though of course zoppas is zanussi made.
Here are not so popular these tiny units from Zanussi, but they used to be the ones from iar Siltal that supposedly started this thing of tiny dishwasher, at least over here....Siltal was located 15 km from where I live in Occimiano, actually Siltal had them made externally, they only made washers, dryers, refrigerators and stoves....company went bankrup nowt even though branch of siltal are still existent around europe and still makes washers and dryers, even though they have nothing to do with the style they used to be made previously, totally a different thing....
I have also seen that recently you can even find tiny models from Bomann (chinese stuff) and also from makers like indesit and Candy...
Speaking of Candy, as far as I know, they never made these tiny units in the past and it should be a recent news from them, but famous were for sure their "candy trio" ie a compact stove with oven and built in dishwasher all in one, meant for places where space is an issue...
Probably Candy is the precursor of compactness in this sense....
Here is how a siltlal dishwasher looks like:

Here an older candy trio unit:

Here new series, they makes them inductiom, electric and gas

Where's it made?

Hey guys
It's a Swedish built machine and the date stamps on the plastic parts are 2001. It does a 55deg economy in 40 mins with excellent results. It's going to mums at some point but it's a fun addition until then :-)

There was a digital model too. This one is from the Elektro Helios brand (an old Scandinavian brand, bought up by Electrolux).
