Here are some misc pictures i have taken at work. Hope you like them.

On the first pic you see an Blomberg Washing machine. They are very expensive but not as good as Miele and such. The motor, Electronics, Bearings and the element often fails in those machines. In this one on the picture it was failed bearings that had stopped the machine. The drum was stuck, you couldnt move it at all.

On the next pic you see an old siemens washing machine. This one was smelling REALLY bad. It smelled Sewage, not a very nice smell. When i begun recycle the machine i saw something disgusting in the drum.

On the next pic i was cleaning clean mops in the washing machine at job. You know its gonna get SOME suds out of this. This time it wasnt so severe but it got a suds lock when spinning anyway. On this pic the wash just have started.

And finally, an untitled machine. Probably a Husquarna. I was recycling it before the top loaded dryer so this pic is kinda old.

Interesting photos.

Does the Blomberg Washing machine have both stainless steel inner tub and outer tub?

Seems you used conventional detergent in that suddy Whirlpool washer? How much did you use?

So, uh, not to go asking indelicate questions or anything... but what was it that was causing the nasty smells in the Siemens...? The picture isn't clear; was that a dead mouse or some kind of poo in the drum...? And what did you finally do to clean it up and make it usable?

And how many rinses did you need after all the suds in the Whirlpool?

To the7: the Blomberg have stainless steel in the inner drum and outher tub. Its a pretty heavy machine, weighing at about 75 kg. The suds picture there, i was cleaning rag mops we had clean the floor with. There they use cleaning detergent and no matter how many times you rinse them before wash, there,ll be some suds. It has gone so bad one time, the washer was overflowing with suds. Now these days i rinse them carefully before wash. We use VIA as wash detergent by the way.

To Designgeek: The nasty smell in the Siemens. Well it was some poo, dog hair, old water (not seen)and something had rotten in the tub. We did not repair the machine, i just recycle them.

Abot the whirlpool. I used 2 extra rinses to get rid of the suds in the machine. First spin was not succesfull of course, but it got better later on.

Re: Thank You:

Fredrik, for sharing some Pictures with us and especially the great Wash Picture of the WP, with the Mops Washing.

I can only imagine what was in the one Washer, creating the terrible Smell, I was thinking however that is was going to be something like a Rat, Mouse or some other small Animal inside.

That is a wonderful relaxed-looking Picture of yourself also. OK, so let us know what that Big Smile was all about!!!

Peace and Good Laundry Times, Steve

Well I have always such high suds when I'm washing the curtains. And mostly I use less then the recommended amount of detergent.
