all the way up -the water now pours out the holes in the base and on the sides to return to the main tub. It works really well for small loads and delicates and yet still recirculates enough to catch a decent amount of lint too!

this is from a different load. Good pics though... I love all the suds these machines make - this is HALF the recommended amount of Detergent!

In the laundry room -

I painted the wall and built my mom a shelf so that she wouldn't mind me hooking my machine up right next to hers. This is the Maytag I loathed growing up becuase they didn't buy the GE I wanted, though it IS a good machine and only needed to be reapierd once in its 18 years of use!

right next to moms...

In this pic i hadn't yet hooked up the hoses but I put Y connectors on the water taps and added an extension to the stand pipe to accomodate my machine. It owrks great and get this... MY MOM LOVES THE GE! She uses it more than hers now because they have a lab and 2 cats and she can't believe the hair removal!

all I could say was TOLD YOU YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A GE!

Hope you enjoyed the tour!

Wait till I get the Avocado '70 working!

Matthew

Matthew, thanks for the memories. I know I would have loved using my mini-basket more if it had been blue instead of white. Steve, my mini-basket was str8-vaned on my 1978.
