Why in the world did americans ever give up on enameled stoves? Im glad to say goodbye to all those endless days of wiping fingerprints and smudges off my stainless steel nightmare. |

Can you give us the model and serial numbers of your range? They should be on a metal placard on the front of your range, behind the storage drawers or the oven doors. The first place I'd look is on the divider between the 2 storage drawers.
With the model and serial numbers, we should be able to date your range exactly. Thanks,

By coincidence, I almost bought a Frigidaire 40" stainless steel range to replace my 1966 40" GE range. Fortunately, I found this site first, and decided to keep the old range. You can read more here:
