for $500? and you must
1) repair it 2) haul it upstairs 3)not even offer the seller less? It's going to be a longer winter at that house. ! :-) CLICK HERE TO GO TO ovrphil's LINK on Albany Craigslist This post was last edited 04/07/2014 at 14:02 |

In addition to an unrealistic selling price ($500), no idea about the range's vintage (it ain't 1950s) and an ignorant selling claim (that she's sure the one burner that isn't working is an "easy fix"), the seller also has this to say:
"Of course :-) oven is located in the basement, so would have to be carried up a flight of stairs to remove! You would have to have enough men to do this without causing damage." That last sentence makes cold shivers run up and down my spine, because no matter how many husky guys you take over there and no matter how careful they are, I just have a feeling there will be damage claimed. As gorgeous as that range is, and as much as I'd like to see it liberated from an owner like this, I'd steer very clear. |
