Yes,finaly, the calapsos are history.Every one I had either burned out on the board, the pump would leak or freeze,or the impeller would lose complete contact with the shaft.I realy tried to like them I even got the see through lid for the Whirlpool model but that one would not use enough water to move the clothes around then would not drain the water out after using it new from the Sears Outlet Store for only 3 weeks.I am however impressed with the Oasis.I truly believe (for those of you out there who are stuck on top loading washers and refuse to even consider converting)these washers and dryers are much better constructed and will be more of an asset to Sears and Whirlpool than the Calapsos ever were.I know,I know, there are those of you out there who probably have them and adore them and haven't had a minute's trouble with them.More power to all of you.Really!I mean that! However, the junkyards and used appliance stores are jam packed down here with them and every one I have seen was either rusted out at the bottom on the frame or the interior parts were so messed up,they weren't worth a nickle.
