I received a washer from a friend and when moving it into place one corner of the top came off the clip in the back and I can't get the top off...
It doesn't have the standard push tabs in the front...
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

Are you sure about the model number? Models with similar numbers I know of (WC-5, WC-5B or WC-5G) are GM Frigidaire 1-18 washers with a vertical pulsating agitator. If that's what you have, the locking tabs for the top aren't located on the front panel (which can be removed independently) but on the side panels (still facing the front).
