couldn't find this posted previously - 8 days old ad :

" vintage kitchenaid superba by Hobart dishwasher. still works and has all the racks, needs new power plug as it was wired straight into house. Needs good cleaning, or I can do it. "

Closer to 1970.   Since it's craigslist, it's more likely a case of seller ignorance than fat fingers.

That's a KDS16 with Soak--so toward the end of the 16 series run.

I see the "soak" there below the Daily Use buttons - were there identifiers on the buttons, now worn off? What were the Daily Use buttons and Party - three buttons ? Just curious as to id and function of those buttons....

Writing is on the chrome strip below the buttons.  Angle of the camera makes it impossible to read but it looks to be intact.

Cycles are (from l to r):

1. Normal

2. Heavy (soak)

3. Sani

4. Rinse & Hold

5. Light

6. Plate Warmer

7. Cancel

Thank you Mark - so the party selection is light cleaning and Plate warmer(such as after the wash, it keeps the plates warm(don't laugh, I have no idea, lol) or is this a feature to warm plates for serving.
