Feature Laden Kenmore!

That center unit is actually a deep skillet type thing, the slide control just above the oven door controls it, this one also has speed heat and a thermostatic control...the pink is a bigggg plus for me, as I think im the only one here who cant stand yellow!LOL..the down side to a kenmore of this vintage is the oven doors always get out of adjustment, and you cant find a part for one this side of eternity! some say they dont bake well because they only use bottom heat, but my experience with them is they bake fine, but unless you use the preheat setting, they take forever to get hot!

Knob just under the oven handle..

Controls the Visi Bake Door, you can open the oven door and their is a full size inner door made of glass so you can see into the oven without losing heat, turn the knob and it locks into the main door and opens with it.

Actually like ALL of those older appliance colors-so much BETTER than the drab SS ones you see now.The stainless ones make your kitchen look like an autoptsy lab!

Original Manufacurer: NOT Whirlpool/RCA?

An old photograph of me at least one or two years old shows a simpler white Kenmore 30" of this vintage, through an open door in the background...

And I thought only the GE's & Hotpoint ranges (and Philco?) used push-buttons for the burners...

Almost surely a Roper product, as they made ranges for Sears for many years. Sears had ownership in Roper just as they did in Whirlpool and several other companies.
